Bruce confirms relegation trio

Derby are doomed, and the appointment of Steve Bruce at Wigan has condemned the Latics and loathesome Birmingham to relegation..

Apparently Wigan went after Bruce after recommendations from Sir Alex Ferguson, but it is not a wholehearted, aggressive captain they were after. Nearly anybody would be an improvement on the hapless Chris Hutchings (how he ever got the job in the 1st place is a joke), but Wigan look to be spiralling downwards, and without Heskey and Henri Camara are limited up front and porous at the back.

Birmingham are a laughing stock, odious supporters, a stalled takeover bid and dildo salesmen in charge of the club (thank you Simon Jordan).

Assistant, Eric Black has been credited with the success at St Andrews in the last 12 months, and a protracted battle over his future could well damage both his current employees and Wigan.

As a Fulham fan I think the appointment of Bruce is good news
