An average night for the Football Trader as David Beckham has supplied the ammunition that they have been sadly lacking over the past 2 years.
A brilliant finish by Joe Cole in the first half has been embroidered by Peter Crouch and Michael Owen both set up magnificently by the boy Beckham.
Any regular readers of this blog will know that I have been leading the calles for the recall of Goldenballs and his performance tonight more than justifies that inclusion.
His substitution on 67 minutes will probably be the end of his international career, but thanks for the memories Becks
From a trading perspective, I will be showing a small profit on the night having underestimated the cutting edge in the England side.
Another example of how more discipline could lead to greater profits - my initial recommendation - a lay o over 2.5 goals at 1.87 was sittin pretty after 30 minutes when I was trading out small style at 2.76.
Hopefully mistakes will equal lessons learned for next season
