Not a great start to the Euro U21 championships. 2 fairly dull games, which only produced 1 goal between them.
Belgium deserved to beat an over rated Portuguese side whose big name players failed to turn up.
Trading on opening night of a tournament is not the smartest thing to do, but in trying to nick a small profit I have come away with 2 losing trades.
Backing Portugal looked like a mistake after about 10 minutes of their match with Belgium and I should have cut my losses early on.
England take to the stage tomorrow night against the Czech Republic, and if if they can progress from a tough looking section they will have seen little to fear in Group A.
