Italian Game still not clean

They are 4th from bottom of their division, still a point away from safety and enduring a terrible campaign on and off the pitch.

Oh and they're as short as 1/10 to win on Sunday - can you guess the country? (source RPSport).

Parma enetertain Messina on the weekend and according to the odds compilers the game is already a certain home win.

Betting on end of season Italian games has been a minefield for bookies for years now, as teams help each other out. One good turn deserves another seems to be the motto in Serie A.

If Messina don't struggle too hard at Parma, maybe next season someone will repay them the favour.

For further insights into the end of season shennanigans in Serie A, I would recommend reading "The Miracle of Castel Di Sangro" by Joe McGinness (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Miracle-Castel-Di-Sangro/dp/075152753X/ref=cm_lmf_tit_4_rdssss0/026-6757427-7846806)

One of the best football books around, which uncovers some very shady dealing at the end of Castel Di Sangro's Serie A campaign
