Real Madrid Great Value for Spanish Title

Hopefully followers of this blog will have had a few profitable trades on the back of advice on these pages, and it look slike I have spotted another good value trade.

Having immersed myself in the Spanish League football in recent weeks, Real Madrid look great value to secure the title (2.12)

With 4 fixtures remaining, Real Madrid will have few concerns about home fixtures with mid table Deportivo and Mallorca (final match).

That just leaves 2 away fixtures, Recreativo de Huelva and Real Zaragoza which although not easy, are more than winnable.

I would fully expect Real Madrid to pick up 10 points in the last 4 games, which would leave arch rivals Barcelona needing to take maximum points from games against Athltico Madrid (a), Getafe (h) (who beat them 4-0 in the cup last week), Espanyol(h) and Gimnastic(a).

I can't see Barcelona being able lift themselves to pick up 12 points from a tough set of fixtures, so tonight's home draw with Real Betis may have cost them the title.

Sevilla have been great to watch all season, and have managed to hang in the title race. Their remaining 4 fixtures are all winnable Deportivo (a), Real Zaragoza(h),Mallorca(a) and Villareal (h), but with 2 cup finals also on their agenda and the fact that 4 wins may not even be enough to secure the title, it would be a massive shock if they win the title.

Looking at the prices available on Betfair, they can't really split Real Madrid (2.12) and Barcelona (2.14) for favouritism, and based on the fixture list the odds on Real Madrid look like great value (they should be an odds on shot in my book).

Title run ins rarely follow the expected script, but with the new found spirit in the Madrid camp I would advise getting on Madrid before the traders and odds compilers realign their prices

RECOMMENDATION: BACK REAL MADRID TO WIN SPANISH LEAGUE AT 2.12
