Sevilla to retain Uefa Cup

Amidst all the hype of the all English final that never was, the prospect of an all Spanish final in Europe's secondary club competition has largely been ignored.

Espanyol take a 3 goal lead to Bremen tonight and despite the Germans having a a talented squad I can't see them recovering from their 1st leg disasters in Barcelona.

In the other semi final, Sevilla look lilely to overturn the 1 -0 deficit from the 1st leg against Osasuna.

Sevilla who thumped Middlesboro 4-0 in last years final have got even better this year and will almost certainly be gracing the Champions League next term.

Osasuna's star player and goal scorer in the 1st leg, Saldado is out through suspension and the Spanish U21 international will be sorely missed by the out of sorts Pamplonans.

Kanoute has been on fire this season and the less vaunted Kerzhakov, (a Russian international who will no doubt terrorise England in the Euro 2008 qualifiers) is also a handful.

I fully expect Juande Ramos' outfit to come through this and they look value at 1.96 to qualify
